Feeling Anxious!

>> Wednesday, February 11, 2009

There's really no news to post today. Tomorrow is my Amnio and Echo, so I'm starting to get a little anxious about those. I thought this bible verse was appropriate for how I'm feeling today and what's coming up tomorrow...

Romans 15:13
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit".

Will post first thing tomorrow night, after we get home from the Amnio and Echo!

Love,
Stephanie

I'm keeping you in my thoughts.

I'll be thinking of you! Try not to stress too much about the amnio (I know, easier said than done). I was very surprised at how painless it really was. It was a weird feeling, but not painful and it was really quick. Honestly, I think the yearly Pap is more uncomfortable. After what I'm sure you've been through with fertility treatments, this should be a piece of cake!

Hi Stephanie,
I agree with Jennifer, I wasn't expecting to get an amnio so I only had a few minutes to worry. But it really wasn't any more painful than a blood draw. It is certainly more psychologically painful!
I have a verse for you that was one that I read when we were in the hospital with Owen...
Isaiah 41:13
For I am the LORD, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
Nice and simple the LORD God will be holding your hand tomorrow while you go through this (as He is right now too) how amazingly special are you and Miss Kamryn that God has time in His day to do that?!?!

Thinking of you guys today and praying for a stress-free day! The amnio was not as bad as I had thought and you WILL get good news from the echo! I continue to pray for the strength to get thru each day--strength for us all--and have nothing but POSITIVE thoughts for the outcome for all of our CDH babies! We know they can do amazing things!

Thinking of you today and praying the amnio and echo. goes very smoothly! I hope Kamryn's heart looks perfect, besides the shifting from the CDH. Sending you lots of positive thoughts today!
